Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman, wounding of a male infant and apparent suicide of a man found at 7700 Willow Chase Boulevard about 7:35 p.m. on October 31.
The identity of the female victim, 37, and the male suspect, 52, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Reyes and V. Villarreal reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment at the above address and found a female and male suffering from gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the female to an area hospital where doctors pronounced her deceased. Paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Officers learned an 8-month-old male with a gunshot wound had been transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Evidence on scene indicated the incident was a murder-suicide in which the male shot the two victims and shot himself.
