Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of two others at 6501 Antoine Drive about 4:20 a.m. on Saturday (June 30).
The identity of the deceased male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The two other victims, Antonio Tejeda, 21, and Noe Sotelo, 29, were transported to area hospitals.
HPD Homicide Division Detective Sergeants S. Murdock and H. Hay reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of Mambo’s Night Club at the above address and found the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Witnesses stated the victims were walking to their cars after the club had closed when a dark colored SUV drove up and shots were fired from inside the vehicle. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed the shooting might have stemmed from a fight inside the club earlier in the evening.
