| Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 6206 Cobalt Street about 3:15 a.m. today (September 7).
The victim is identified as Kevin Dewayne Rene, 41.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the residence at the above address and found Mr. Rene on the floor of the living room. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Rene deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
