Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 3800 Lydia Street about 9 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 8).
The victim is identified as Montrey Black, 29, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Condon and J. Burton reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Black lying in the middle of the street next to a motorcycle. He had been shot more than one time. Witnesses stated they heard arguing followed by gunshots.
A black male suspect, approximately 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a white T-shirt, black jean shorts with a medium build and a fade hairstyle, was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
