Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 2300 Pearl Street about 8:05 a.m. on Saturday (August 6).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective L. Lange reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased male found in a grassy area near the above address. Officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived and determined the male had been shot at least once. Paramedics pronounced him deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
