Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another man at 2121 Main Street about 11:05 p.m. on Sunday (June 18).
The identity of the deceased victim, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Hernandez and S. Overstreet reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and met with Houston Fire Department paramedics. Paramedics told officers two men were transported to an area hospital with gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The other man, 58, was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The suspect, described only as a male wearing a black hoodie and dark shorts, fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
