| The fatal shooting of a man at 12902 Sarah’s Lane that occurred about 2:25 p.m. on Monday (October 18) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The deceased male is identified as Rene Solis.
The female shooter was not injured in the incident.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Glover and Detective J. Pickett reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a residence at the above address and found a female providing medical assistance to Mr. Solis. He had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Solis deceased.
Further investigation indicated there may have been a continuing domestic disturbance which may have led to the shooting.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted and the case will be submitted to a grand jury for review.
