Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 12698 Westheimer Street about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 27).
The identity of the victim, 23, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Brown and M. Condon reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at a convenience store at the above address. Upon arrival, officers learned the victim was purchasing items from the store when he was approached by two black male suspects and was physically threatened. During the physical confrontation the suspects shot the victim multiple times. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspects are described only as two black males with slim builds. One suspect was wearing a black jacket and the other, a blue jacket. Both suspects also wore face masks.
