Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 800 Lonnie Lane that occurred about 1:20 a.m. on Sunday (April 25).
The identity of the male victim, 26, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer K. Hines reported:
The victim was driving a black Jeep Commander westbound at the above address when the vehicle left the roadway, crashed into a ditch and struck a concrete driveway. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
