| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7100 Cullen Boulevard about 9:10 p.m. on Saturday (March 23).
The deceased male is identified as Demarcus Evans, 42.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y Ramirez and Officer L. Fenoglio reported:
Mr. Evans was operating a blue Suzuki motorcycle northbound, weaving in and out of traffic near the above address. He lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle.
The driver of a gray Dodge Journey traveling southbound on Cullen was waiting to make a left turn into a private driveway and saw the motorcycle pass by in the northbound lanes without its operator. As the Dodge turned left, the vehicle struck the motorcyclist lying in the roadway. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Evans deceased.
The female driver, 35, of the Dodge remained at the scene, was determined not to be impaired, and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
