Houston police are investigating fatal crash at 6100 West Fuqua Street that occurred about 4:15 p.m. on Monday (September 27).
The identity of the female victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Clark and Officer J. Bibb reported:
According to witnesses, a gray Ford Taurus was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed near the above address and struck a curb on the left side of the road. The Taurus then went onto an esplanade and struck two trees. The victim died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
