| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4400 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 2:25 a.m. on Saturday (September 24).
The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer S. Bouarar reported:
The female was driving a black Jeep Wrangler at a high rate of speed southbound on the freeway at the above address and exited at Crosstimbers Road where she lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep then struck a pillar under the freeway, causing it to roll over. The female was ejected. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash. The investigation is continuing.
