| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3309 Allen Parkway about 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday (March 5).
The identity of the deceased male, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. James and Officers N. Duval and Z. Alikhan reported:
The male was operating a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle eastbound near the above address when he failed to stay in a single lane, struck a median and was ejected. The male landed in the westbound lanes of Allen Parkway and was struck by a gray Land Rover Discovery traveling westbound on Allen Parkway.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. The driver of the Land Rover remained at the scene and was determined not to be impaired.
The investigation is continuing.
