| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3300 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) about 7:10 p.m. last Friday (August 12).
The identity of the deceased female, 37, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer S. Bouarar reported:
The female was operating a green Kawasaki motorcycle westbound near the above address and on the connector ramp to the Eastex Freeway (North U.S. Highway 59) when she failed to stay in a single lane and struck a concrete barrier. The impact ejected the female from the motorcycle to a grassy field below. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
