| Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 2600 Voss at about noon today (April 30).
The identity of the female victim, 68, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer E. Rubio reported:
The victim was driving a white Ford Expedition northbound on Hillcroft when she crossed several lanes in a possible attempt to make a left turn onto Westheimer. The Expedition struck a white Chrysler 300 and a white Ford van, both stopped at the light while headed southbound on Voss. A brown Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a silver Toyota were also struck in the crash. The driver of the Expedition died at the scene. The drivers of the other vehicles involved suffered minor injuries and were not transported to the hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
