Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 1400 Brittmoore Road about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday (Sept. 5).
The identity of the male victim, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Long and Officer V. Garcia reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was in a moving lane of traffic at the above address when he was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene without stopping to render aid. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Investigators have determined the wanted vehicle is a silver or light-colored Toyota Tundra, believed to be a 2014-2017 model. The truck will have front end damage with part of its front grill missing.
