Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 1200 North Loop West (North Interstate Highway 610 West) service road about 10:25 p.m. on Thursday (February 22).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer S. Bouarar reported:
The victim was crossing the North Loop West service road near the above address and was struck by a black Honda Pilot traveling eastbound on the service road. The driver of the Pilot did not stop and fled the scene.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased.
