Houston police have learned the identity and cause of death of a woman found at 6626 Calhoun Road about 8 a.m. on May 22.
The victim has been identified as Valarie Brinkley, 43, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers S. Spivey and R. Pemberton reported:
Officers responded to a report of a deceased female (Ms. Brinkley) found lying in the driveway of the above address. She was found partially clothed, but had no visible injuries. An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined Brinkley had suffered blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
