Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of a woman found at 7101 West Fuqua Street about 6 a.m. on Monday (Aug. 12).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The female victim was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
The male victim pulled his vehicle into a gas station parking lot at the above address. The female victim got out of the vehicle and sought help from an employee at the business. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the male deceased and transported the female to a hospital.
At this time, it is unknown where the shooting occurred and there is no known suspect(s) or witnesses.
