WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: October 28, 2022 at 4:03 p.m.
WHERE: 4400 block of Tampico St. 77016.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $200,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke and fire coming from a 1-story house. The made an attack on the fire and secured the utilities. A primary search was completed, and no occupants were found. The crews extinguished the fire, and a second search was completed. CenterPoint was contacted to disconnect the power to the structure and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 15, 34, 12, 39, 56, 19 and 30 responded to this incident.
