WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: August 4, 2022 at 6:18 a.m.
WHERE: 8500 block of Safeguard St. 77051.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $150,900 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $51,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and encountered thick smoke throughout the home. The crews ventilated the house and conducted a primary search with no one found. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 46, 23, 26, 24, 35 and 55 responded to this incident.
