CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find and quickly extinguish a small fire in the attic of a 1-story home. They removed the insulation and charred wood from the room and requested the American Red Cross for the resident. The resident was advised to have an electrician inspect and repair the damage before turning the power back on. Crews also encouraged the resident to avoid the room until structural repairs were made. Firefighters from Stations 26, 46, 24, 47 and 55 responded to this incident.
