WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: February 19, 2023 at 3:36 a.m.
WHERE: 7100 block of Sidney St. at Dreyfus St. 77021.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $20,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a 1-story house fully involved on fire. A primary search was not possible, and crews made a defensive attack. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 35, 26, 46, 25, 35, 40, 33 and 24 responded to this incident.
