WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: December 4, 2023, at 10:17 p.m.
WHERE: 5400 block of Doolittle Blvd. 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $137,700 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from a house that had previously burned. They made an attack on the fire and controlled the utilities, finding no gas meter and the power appeared to be disconnected. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson was requested to determine the cause and origin. 37 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 4, 46, 23, 26, 35, 40 and 24.
