WHAT: Duplex fire.
WHEN: December 4, 2023, at 3:17 p.m.
WHERE: 3200 block of Napoleon St. 77004.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $50,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy fire coming from the side of a small 1-story duplex. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search of both units. Crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. 40 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 17, 23, 8, 46, 7, 18, 25, 24 and Rescue 42.
