WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: August 7, 2022 at 7:27 a.m.
WHERE: 5900 block of Southlark St. 77033.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $104,500 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $16,500 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke and fire coming from the side of a 1-story house. Tires on the exterior of the home were on fire with extension into the walls and attic of the house. Crews made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search with no one found. The house was ventilated, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 46, 26, 35, 40 and 24 responded to this incident
