WHAT: House Fire
WHEN: December 11, 2021 at 11:20 a.m.
WHERE: 4400 block of Mowery Rd. 77047
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $8.5 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under Investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find smoke coming from the wall and eaves of a small house. Most of the fire had been extinguished by the homeowner. Crews completed extinguishment and checked for extension. They ventilated the home and cut the utilities. The homeowner was advised to have an electrician inspect the home prior to turning the power back on. HFD Arson investigators were quested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 55 and 24 responded to this incident.
