WHAT: House fire.

WHERE: 7900 block of N. Ritz St. 77028.

DAMAGE: $60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find fire coming from a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and protected nearby homes. The house was ventilated, and a primary search was completed. The crews pulled down the exterior soffits to locate and extinguish the fire. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 34 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 41, 23, 19, 45, 32, 43 and 27.
