WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 400 block of Maxey, 770123
INJURIES: 2 civilians transported for burns/smoke inhalation.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from a house and fire starting to show from the sides. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search. A defensive mode was initiated, and the fire was extinguished. HFD transported two civilians to the hospital for burns and smoke inhalation. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 23, 20, 45, 41, 53, 44, 30 and Rescue 42 responded to this incident.
