PROPERTY SAVED: $396 thousand in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $36 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find smoke coming from a convenience store at the end of a strip center. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The fire was quickly extinguished, and crews cleared the smoke from the store and a nearby business. HFD and HPD were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire, and for a suspect of starting the fire on scene. Firefighters from Stations 2, 15, 34, 31, 67 and 30 responded to this incident.
