WHERE: 5700 block of Wood Creek Way, 77017.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $10,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (abandoned or discarded materials or products).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from the roof of a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary and secondary search. The roof was ventilated, and the fire was extinguished. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 23, 26, 70, 23, 29, 61 and 24 responded to this incident.
