WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: December 15, 2022 at 4:21 p.m.
WHERE: 200 block of Moose Jaw Lane, 77336.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $180,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $240,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Not available.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find light smoke coming from the attic of a 2-story house. They made an offensive attack on the fire and controlled the utilities. A primary search was completed with no one found. The residents saw smoke and were altered to the fire by smoke alarms. Crews controlled and extinguished the fire with significant damage to the attic, and smoke and water damage to the second floor and a portion of the first floor. The residents were advised that the house was not safe to stay in and the American Red Cross was requested to assist them. Firefighters from Stations 64, 65, 102, 103, 105, 101 and 30 responded to this incident.
