WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 600 block of Forest Cove, 77339
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $275,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within a minute to find a small 2-story home fully involved on fire and declared a defensive attack. They knocked down most of the fire and continued to extinguish hotspots. The house had completely collapsed and remained burning underneath the rubble. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 101, 102, 103, 104, 64, 63 and 2 responded to this incident.
