WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: February 1, 2024, at 3:49 a.m.
WHERE: 15800 block of Lee Rd. 77396.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $355,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental/unintentional).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find the garage of a residence fully involved in fire. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search of the house. The utilities were secured, and they checked the house for extension. The crews controlled the fire in the garage and extension in the home. Once the fire was fully extinguished HFD Arson investigators began their investigation into the cause and origin. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 64, 34, 56, 74, 63 and 30.
