WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: March 19, 2023 at 6:51 a.m.
WHERE: 4900 block of Enyart St. 77021.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $49,500 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60,500 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a 1-story house fully involved on fire and made an attack on the fire while protecting the nearby homes. A primary and secondary search were completed with no one found. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 35, 46, 23, 26, 18, 25, 40, 24 and Rehab 17 responded to this incident.
