CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source (unspecified short circuit).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find light smoke coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. They extinguished a fire in the attic and conducted a primary search. CenterPoint arrived on scene and cut the power to the home due to electrical wires shorting and starting the fire. 32 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 25, 26, 46 and 40.
