WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: February 28, 2023 at 7:28 p.m.
WHERE: W. Cavalcade St. at Tabor, 77009.
INJURIES: One firefighter evaluated on scene.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find fire coming from all openings of a 2-story house under construction. A defensive attack was made, and crews protected a nearby structures. A power line was also down near the home. Several additional units were requested, and the fire was controlled using aerial waterways. A captain was evaluated on scene for dizziness and weakness and went home private vehicle. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews form Stations 15, 30, 6, 31, 9, 19, 39 and 62 responded to this incident.
