WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: April 28, 2023 at 8:47 p.m.
WHERE: 100 block of W. 10th 1/2 street, 77008.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire coming from a 1-story house and spreading to the nearby homes. They made a defensive attack and worked to extinguish the fire in the main house and the nearby exposures. Searches were completed with no one found. Once the fire was controlled, crews ensured all hotspots were extinguished and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 15, 6, 31, 9, 11, 12, 16, 30, 62 and Rehab responded to this incident.
