WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: March 7, 2023 at 3:49 p.m.
WHERE: 4600 block of Buck St. 77020.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: Not available.
DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within a minute to find fire coming from a 1-story house and made an offensive attack. They ventilated the roof and forced entry. Once the fire was under control and fully extinguished, HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 15, 19, 20, 9, 18, 41, 44, 105 and 30 responded to this incident.
