WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: February 6, 2023 at 6:27 a.m.
WHERE: 3700 block of Liberty Rd. 77026.
INJURIES: One civilian transported to the hospital and one firefighter injured.

DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire coming from a 1-story house. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search of the home and a nearby exposure. The crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. One civilian was transported to the hospital and a firefighter injured his leg when he fell through the floor. Firefighters from Stations 19, 15, 8, 9, 12, 27, 18 and 30 responded to this incident.
