INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $185,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $35,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke and fire in the attic of a house and used water cans to control the fire and limit spread from the attic. They extinguished the fire and contained it to the attic, originating in a void space between walls around electrical wiring. 22 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 40, 26, 36 and 29.
