WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: December 23, 2022 at 9:58 a.m.
WHERE: 1500 block of Beaconshire Rd. 77077.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: More than $218,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $150,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find heavy fire coming from the garage of a 1-story house. They made entry through the home to the interior garage door and made an attack on the fire. There was no extension noted. The exterior garage door was opened, and the fire was fully extinguished. Crews also conducted a search of the home to ensure everyone was safely out. The residents were evaluated on scene by HFD EMS. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 78, 83, 49, 57, 75, 86 and 30 responded to this incident.
