WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: January 11, 2023 at 10:57 p.m.
WHERE: 10400 block of Bretton Dr. 77016.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $99,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $31,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unitentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find fire on the side of a 1-story house. Crews made an attack on the fire that was extending into the attack. A primary and secondary search were completed, and the home was ventilated. The fire was extinguished, and the power company was notified. The owner reported seeing the fire originate from the front patio where they had plugged in a Christmas Tree. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 32, 2, 34, 45, 64, 39, 43, 56, 19 and 30 responded to this incident.
