WHAT: House fire.
WHEN: March 20, 2024, at 3:31 p.m.
WHERE: 8900 block of Denton St. 77028.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $140,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a house on fire. They removed the coverings on the windows and doors and completed a primary and secondary search. The crews made an attack on the fire and ventilated the roof. The fire was extinguished and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 32 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 15, 34, 45, 43, 56 and 30.
