WHERE: 14200 block of Cascade Falls Dr. 77062.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $443,500 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $6,500 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (arc, spark from operating equipment).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find light smoke coming from the attic of a house. They extinguished a fire in the dryer that extended into the attic. A fan was used to ventilate the smoke from the attic with smoke and water damage to the home. Crews from Stations 71 and 72 responded to this incident.
