CAUSE: Unintentional (malfunction of a child’s electric toy car)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a 2-story house with the garage on fire. They made an offensive attack and checked for extension. The fire was quickly extinguished, and a primary search was completed. The garage was ventilated, and crews conducted salvage and overhaul. The fire was unintentional, started by a malfunction of a child’s electric toy car. Firefighters from Stations 59, 47, 21, 24 and 55 responded to this incident.
