WHAT: House fire.

WHERE: 3100 block of Kelling St. 77045.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $180,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $30,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional (cooking).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a 1-story house and found a small fire in the kitchen. They extinguished the fire and ventilated the home. A primary search was completed, and a dog was found. Crews conducted salvage and overhaul and provided American Red Cross contact information to the residents. Firefighters from Stations 47 and 59 responded to this incident.
