CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke and fire coming from the roof of a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and ventilated the roof. A primary search was completed with no one found. The fire was extinguished, and the power company was notified. The fire started in the area where the owner had used a torch to solder a water line and then extended into the attic. Crews from Stations 15, 59, 47, 80 and 55 responded to this incident.
