WHAT: House Fire.
WHEN: December 12, 2022 at 7:23 p.m.
WHERE: 5300 block of Danfield Dr. 77053.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $110,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $60,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Failure of equipment or heat source.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find fire coming from the corner of a 1-story house. They made an offensive attack and conducted a primary search. The roof was ventilated, and the fire was extinguished. The Houston Police Department and animal control were requested for dogs found at the scene. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 21, 59, 47, 48, 80 and 24 responded to this incident.
