CAUSE: Unintentional (electrical).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find light smoke inside a 1-story home. They pulled the ceiling and found heavy smoke and fire in the attic. They extinguished the fire and ensured the hotspots were fully out. A repairman reported seeing fire and smoke coming near an electrical panel in the attic after a he heard a loud arc. Crews used fans to ventilate the smoke and covered the furniture with plastic. 17 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 4, 13, 50 and 67.
